Director/ Associate Director
Recognized by the industry as a premiere brand strategy consulting firm, Millward Brown Optimor is seeking highly motivated, strategic thinkers who are interested in joining its team as Directors. 
The role will be to support the Managing Director in jump-starting the consulting business in Greater China, and in the AMAP regional (Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific). Key areas of priority will be crafting the strategy, leading business development efforts, building the team and leading clients engagements. The new venture will be integrated into the existing Millward Brown structure in Asia, and based out of our Shanghai office.
 
Director / Associate Director will be responsible for managing all areas of client engagements including client relationship and interaction, project and team management, analysis and problem solving, development of strategic recommendations.

Project types include: 
▪Consumer insight market strategy 
▪Brand strategy 
▪Brand/business valuation & strategy 
▪Brand portfolio optimization 
▪ROI measurement 
▪M&A, licensing & co-branding strategy development 
▪Marketing investment planning 
▪Brand architecture 

Director / Associate Director take an active role in managing projects, developing existing clients and developing the practice to include marketing, people development and recruiting. Travel is expected to be a part of all client engagements, but usually does not exceed 25% of time requirements. 

The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of interests in strategy consulting, marketing/branding and financial analysis. The candidate should be a self-starter with a proactive attitude who is motivated to excel within an entrepreneurial environment. This position will provide the right candidate with the unique opportunity to grow into an industry expert in a cutting-edge area of consulting and to lead larger client engagements and practice areas.
 
Qualifications:
▪MBA from a top-tier business school with a strong interest in strategy consulting, finance and marketing
▪Strong academic background 
▪Prior experience in a related field is a plus, but is not required.
▪Strong project management skills 
▪Demonstrated leadership skills 
▪Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills 
▪Brand sensibility
▪ Ability to take initiative and to work independently and within a team 
▪Very strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
▪Fluent in English and Mandarin speaking preferred
